
The Limb of Dreams Foundation Board Resolution:

The Board of Directors shall use the following process to select participants to be assisted by the Limb of Dreams Foundation. Each potential participant shall submit an application for assistance. All applications for assistance will be reviewed by foundation members or staff for completeness and accuracy prior to submission to the Board of Directors. Once the application is deemed complete it shall be added to the agenda to the next Board of Directors meeting. The Board’s goal is to approve 1-4 applicants per meeting when applicable and contingent on the receipt of qualifying applications and subject to the Board’s discretion.

Board of Directors shall review the application and determine a course of action based on the following criteria:
a). Children under the age of 18 that need new prosthetics or specialized equipment to enjoy a complete childhood or participate in sports, and do not have the resources to acquire the needed equipment.
b). Financially burdened persons in need of new equipment or technology to be able to improve their current life and provide the ability to complete daily task or meet specific goals for said individual.
c). To help U.S. Military Veterans that have suffered a limb loss and have exhausted the available support from the VA.
d). Provide resources for Limbless Athletes to continue with their goals, rather personal or in a competitive environment.
e). Fund training, education, and personal assistance for all of the above.

Once the Board of Directors has reviewed an application based on the above criteria, they will take the following course of action:
a). Request additional information from an applicant
b). Make a motion to approve or not approve an applicant based on the criteria above.
c). Request the applicant resubmit for the next meeting
d). Determine the amount of assistance shall be allocated to an approved applicant or applicants.
